Beth Warren has been creating large-scale wall mosaics since 2003 after taking a (life-changing!) mosaic workshop with master artist Isaiah Zagar at the Magic Gardens in Philadelphia, PA. Her range of proficiency is quite wide -- from bold and non-traditional to conservative and even formal. Beth works with her clients to create a custom design tailored to their specific space and style.
Beth Warren is a previously astute businesswoman who now prefers to spend her time breaking tiles and making art from junk. Her favorite part of creating is the deliberate process of gluing each piece on an unfinished surface -- a process she finds to be meditative. Beth is currently an artist-in-residence at Sweet Mabel Studio where she hosts open studio sessions and teaches mosaics and found object art to adults and kids. You can find some of Beth's work at Sweet Mabel Store in Narberth, PA.
Beth started her mosaic adventures with Karen Krivit, a sculpture, social worker & injured tri-athlete. Karen now devotes her spare time to the Philly Goat Project.
