We have been creating large-scale wall mosaics since 2003. Trained in Philadelphia by master artist Isaiah Zagar, we share the vision of creating wonderful mosaics that become part of the architecture of a neighborhood.
Our range of proficiency is quite wide -- from bold & non-traditional to conservative & even formal. We work with our clients to formulate a design tailored to their specific space & style.
Karen Krivit, a sculpture, social worker & injured tri-athlete, is best known for "bellyproject: plaster casts of pregnant women." She has received national attention for her work. Her favorite parts of both sculpture & mosaic work are that they are messy, forgivable & collaborative. Living in Narberth with Lily, Jack, Henry & Bob, Karen maintains a soft spot in her heart for power tools & poetry.
Beth Warren is a previously astute businesswoman who now prefers to spend her time breaking tiles & making art from junk. Her favorite part of creating is the deliberate process of gluing each piece of tile to an unfinished surface -- a process she finds to be meditative. Beth is currently the artist in residence at Sweet Mabel Studio, where she hosts open studio sessions and teaches mosaics & found object art. You can buy some of Beth's work at Sweet Mabel and other galleries in the area, and online at Etsy.
